My Mission:
I strive to create an encouraging, comfortable and fun environment in order to nurture my student's creativity. Though I have students of all ages, I especially enjoy working with late bloomers.
I also offer my students the opportunity to participate in recitals!
Violin & Fiddle: It’s a Democracy!
Mondays 7:00 pm-8:00pm at Artichoke Music
November 3rd - December 1st 2025
This class is for upper-beginner and intermediate violin and fiddle players who want a chance to play their favorite (or at least liked) songs with others in a supportive setting. At the start of this series, the instructor will present 10-12 tunes in the genre of folk, jazz, bluegrass, Irish, blues and/or classical and students will vote in three of these tunes (plus one alternate) to work on over the next six sessions. Students will have a recital opportunity Sunday December 14th at 1:30pm at TaborSpace in SE Portland.
Ability to read music or learn by ear is required.
This term will feature some holiday music in the mix!
