Learn traditional fiddle tunes through accessible arrangements in a supportive group setting. This class is for beginner-ish to intermediate fiddle and violin players who want to expand their repertoire by playing some of the best songs of the genre. The music chosen will be a collection of fiddle tunes with roots in Appalachia,​ the British Isles, Native America​, Ireland and Africa. Techniques for accompaniment in folk music style will also be covered in this class. Ability to read music or learn by ear is required.
